Oak Ridge National Laboratory has proposed the Radioisotope Processing Facility (RPF), a new standardized modular hot cell (MHC) facility, to meet the radioisotope processing needs of DOE IRP with a focus on processing irradiated reactor targets from ORNL’s High Flux Isotope Reactor (HFIR). This request describes a basic ordering agreement (BOA) for task orders to allow an architectural and engineering (A&E) design contractor to develop a full design package for the MHC scope and provide support to the project during the fabrication and installation phases.
