The Dwight D. Eisenhower Award for Excellence recognizes large prime contractors that have excelled in the utilization of small businesses as suppliers and subcontractors. It can be awarded to an organization only once every four years.
The award for the Research and Development category was presented to Oak Ridge National Laboratory and UT – Battelle during a National Small Business Week ceremony at the White House on May 8, 2015.
