Seeking qualified firms (architectural, design, and construction firms) to provide comprehensive design services for the demolition and rebuild of a historical smokehouse built circa 1840 (early 19th Century). The project scope includes development of detailed plans for disassembly, restoration, and reassembly, and ensure compliance with all applicable building codes and historical preservation guidelines. A detailed narrative as well as a graphical design that includes all 1840 period architectural attributes and finishes is also required. The intent of this project is to produce adequate detail for a construction contractor to demolish and rebuild the Smokehouse structure in a manner that preserves the historical integrity, and the structure is stable and usable.
